More Proof You Can’t Trust Republicans with Money

Seems as thought the Republican Natonal Committee manages its money as well as its California counterpart.

Read all about it here.

Seems a party loyalist has been lining his own pockets.

“The evidence we have today indicated we have been deceived and betrayed for a number of years by a highly respected and trusted individual,” said Rep. Tom Cole (R-Okla.), the NRCC chairman.

I don’t disagree that the national Reeps are a disgrace, but the Dems in Sacramento are equally disgraceful. They virtually control the state, and we have a massive state budget deficit. So I don’t think any of you California Dems ought to be pointing fingers at the Reeps regarding their budget stupidity. Dem legislators in California are no better than their Reep counterparts in D.C.

No Art, the Dems don’t control that state; there are just enough Republicans to prevent the Democrats from doing what you say they do.

Dan is right: the Repugs represent the very essence of Calhoun’s ‘Tyranny of the Minority.’ Until the wingnuts on the right start thinking less about reducing taxes for their rich friends, witht their yachts and expensive cars, Californians are going to continue down this path of severe underfunding of critical services like education and transportation.
