Carona Resignation Barely Registers at Flash

So much for “Caifornia’s Most Significant Political News.” The Carona resignation story from the Flash Report is a hotlink to a story from the Register. Still waiting for Carona to get the Doolitte treatment from Fleischman/Probolsky et al. (i.e. “I know Mike Carona and he’s agood man….)

Marty Wisckol’s column in today’s paper listed US Rep. John Campbell, State Rep. Todd Spitzer, and BOS Chair John Moorlach as those calling for Carona to resign. But other than the public statement, I wonder if any of them picked up the phone to call the now ex-sheriff to tell him to fall on his sword, or did they send a letter?

Praise is usually best done publicly while criticism best handled privately. I just wonder how personal the calls for resignation got.

Fleischman has officially become the leading contra indicator. When Cunningham was under investigation, Jonny was proclaiming to the world that Duke was a great conservative and great American. He’s currently in jail. When the indictment against Carona was unsealed, we heard from Jonny that Mike is an honest ethical individual whose leadership of the OCSD was exemplary. Currently awaiting trial as a result of federal charges.

Next on the list will be Doolittle. After that maybe Gary Miller.

Thank you Jon. We can now officially use him as the corrupt GOP divining rod.

Just use FR as a divining rod as suggested by RHacket. Afterall, its been consistant that what ever the FR Reports, the opposite is always the truth. Its always opposite day in FR Land. I cantr wait tto see them slap the cuffs onto Doolittle.

Jon Flieshman and Matt (jubal) Cunningham, are completely disingenuos.

These guys have had Corona’s balls in thier mouths for years. Unfortunately, they could’nt find thier own.

I don’t get why the GOP (Especially in OC) stand by these losers. Stand up and speak the truth.

It’s them same chicken hawk hypocrisy that led us into Iraq.

“Oh Dodo, those rules are’nt for us…..that’s for those blackies and Brownies” George HW Bush.

Who else here is doing handsprings over the possibility that yet another Schroeder/GOP Central Committee/Lincoln Club pick might get the nod? We in OC truly get the leadership we deserve.

It’s only a matter of time before we start hearing Jonny Flasher start telling us that he knows Jack Anderson and Jack Anderson is an honest man.
