Veteran’s Day Ceremony in Irvine

Dear Friends,

I hope you will join me in observing Veterans Day at a special ceremony honoring our veterans hosted by the City of Irvine.  Here are the details:

Sunday, November 11, 10 – 11 a.m.

Colonel Bill Barber Marine Corps Memorial Park

Formal Garden Area (4 Civic Center Plaza)

Light refreshments will be served

Friends, family and children are welcome.  It’s a wonderful opportunity to come together as a community in support of the brave service personnel of our military past and present who have given of themselves on behalf of our country and our freedoms. 

I also wanted to let you know that on Monday there will be special Veterans Day hours for the GREAT PARK BALLOON. 

9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Rides on the balloon are FREE

Finally… 

Throughout the weekend, young people throughout Irvine will have “Lemon-aid” projects going on around town as part of the TEAM KIDS effort to help victims of the recent fires.  For more information, visit www.teamkids.org
