Ann Coulter calls Presidential Candidate a “faggot”

If there is anyone in this world that takes this lady seriously, I’d hope that this incident sways them to join the majority of the population in the thinking that she is loony.
At the Conservative Political Action Conference, right-wing talking head Ann Coulter said: “I was going to have a few comments on the other Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards, but it turns out you have to go into rehab if you use the word ‘faggot,’ so I — so kind of an impasse, can’t really talk about Edwards.”

There is no one that is embraced by the left that is so nuty and extreme. Michale Moore and Ariana Huffington don’t even come close to this stuff. Here’s the video:

Come out, come out wherever you are Conservatives…where are your party’s outrage op/eds, where are the demands for apologies, any comments here? Or is bigotry the current Conservative platform, because you have no other platform, perhaps?

“Coulter’s attack was no accident. It happened on national television at one of the year’s biggest conservative conferences. Dick Cheney and most of the Republican candidates were in the audience. She was even introduced by Mitt Romney.” –David Bonior, Campaign Manager Edwards For President

    SHAME

Does one have to go into rehab for using the word c__t? Because that’s the only comment I have about her.

LA Times: (buried at the end of the story), “A Giuliani spokeswoman said she had not heard the speech, and a Romney spokesman did not return calls late Friday.”
Let’s not forget, (from BoomanTribune.com): …”John Edwards recently had a controversy because he hired two bloggers that had made remarks construed to be offensive to some Catholics. The media did not hesitate to cover that story. But when he gets called ‘a faggot’ by a well known best selling author, Republican activist, and cable news guest? Crickets are chirping.

Referring to Ann Coulter as a “lady” is much too generous of you, Mike.

When my computer is back up and running I will look for the actual art, but I remember seeing a cartoon that said…

“If Ann Coulter fell down in a forest, would anyone care?”

My apologies if I’m unclear in my comments guys. My intentions are not to give Coulter, the “entertainer”, attention. I promised myself never again to sit silent after the smear attacks to Gore in 2000, Kerry in 2004, Gore again last week. Many were from the OC blogs. Time to “up the ante” and demand accountability from her corporate sponsors and the political candidates who endorse her…

Romney (R-MA) said, “I am happy to hear that after you hear from me, you will hear from Ann Coulter. That is a good thing. Oh yeah!”

    Mitt Romney’s “macaca” moment?

What really bothered me was the roar of laughter from the crowd aftershe says the word. And they say that those of us on the left are hateful. Ann forever says liberal don’t get the joke. Sorry, in this case, I don’t.
