Vietnam…Iraq…easily confused
The photo that is accompanying this story over at CNN.com has a caption that incorrectly states that Jim Webb’s son is serving in Vietnam.
Doh!
We all make mistakes, but this one by CNN is a funny slip-up considering most of the country thinks that this war has turned into a Vietnam-like quagmire.
There’s a good chance that CNN will correct the caption before most of you click over, so I took a screenshot to share.
The story is a transcript of Senator Jim Webb’s response to the President’s State of The Union Address.
What did you guys think of the President’s speech?
One thing that I think was missing was any mention of New Orleans and the mess that still exists in the Gulf Coast area more than a year after Katrina hit.
Any praise for the guy?
