In new numbers released Saturday at 5 pm, Lou Correa increased his lead over Lynn Daucher to 821 votes.
The new result:
STATE SENATOR, 34th District Completed Precincts: 377 of 377
Vote Count Percentage
LOU CORREA (DEM) 55,234 50.0%
LYNN DAUCHER (REP) 54,413 49.2%
OTTO BADE 899 0.8%

Next update - Monday 5pm. I think they’re nearly finished counting.
I hesitate to congratulate Senator Correa until it’s final, official, and uncontested.
The fat ladies might not be singing yet, but I think I hear them warming up!
