Something to read before going to the polls

R. Scott Moxley just posted at The OC Weekly’s Blotter a very direct piece titled “2006 WORST OC Candidate: Lynn Daucher.”

Yes, Lou has made a few progressive votes and happens to be widely respected by Republicans. But he’s never portrayed himself as anything other than a centrist politician. Never has he shamelessly used homophobia as a key campaign plank.

Lynn, you are a disgrace and when you lose tomorrow, at least have the decency to apologize for your well-funded but sick campaign.

    Unless the OC Registrar site has changed and I admit not checking it, the League of Women Voters has a great easy to navigate site. Type in your address and zip and you get your polling location AND your ballot (for those of you who make up your mind at the last minute.

    That last comment was meant for another window. Probably makes no sense here. Or maybe it does, strangely…
    Here’s what I meant to write HERE:
    The Daucher campaign is using the Gay Veterans Memorial vote to turn out voters. I spotted some of her campaign mail featuring this at doors in South Fullerton last night.
    Only wish that Moxley would have brought this up a bit earlier!
