More Santa Ana Mayor News

I told you that this Santa Ana Mayor race was going to be fun. Didn’t I?

Thomas Gordon pulled papers this afternoon, and according to Art over at The Orange Juice, he has every intention of running for Santa Ana Mayor.

Gordon, a Republican, blogs for The Orange Juice. He’s also a building inspector specializing in asbestos for the Los Angeles Unified School District.

If I were a Santa Ana resident, Gordon wouldn’t get my vote…but with that said, he’s done an awesome job getting people to pay attention to the harmful asbestos pollution created by the demolition of the building on the site of Pulido’s pet One Broadway Plaza project.

I’m curious how this will play into Mike Garcia’s race—if he decides to run.

C’mon Mike – it is now Pulido vs. Gordon. Garcia is out and Fiala is nuts. This is a non-partisan race, and Gordon is a man who cares about the people of Santa Ana. Can we say that about Pulido? I think not!

Gordon may be a Republican, but Pulido is a cabron! It is time to retire him…
